When The Gardens of Ellen Biddle Shipman appeared in 1997, practically no one had heard of the Cornish-based garden designer, but soon “Shipmania” seized the landscape history world. Long out of print and almost impossible to find used, the LALH book will be reissued in a revised edition that includes many gardens discovered as a result of the original edition, with a larger format, splendid new design, and many new color photographs.
