•   In her book A Modern Arcadia: Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. and the Plan for Forest Hills Gardens, Susan L. Klaus chronicles the creation of the 142-acre development from its inception in 1909 through its first two decades, offering insights into American planning history and the social and economic forces that shaped housing in the Progressive Era.

•   LALH announces the publication of two new volumes in the ASLA Centennial Reprint series: H. W. S. Cleveland’s Landscape Architecture, as Applied to the Wants of the West with a new introduction by Daniel J. Nadenicek and Lance M. Neckar, and Wilhelm Miller’s The Prairie Spirit in Landscape Gardening with a new introduction by Christopher Vernon.
