NOW SHOWING: THE BEST PLANNED CITY IN THE WORLD

Tuesday, January 21, 2014 | Posted by lalh

The latest LALH film, The Best Planned City in the World: Olmsted, Vaux, and the Buffalo Park System, is now available online!

Based on scholarship from Francis R. Kowsky’s book , the new film tells the story of the nation’s first park system. Like other films in the North America by Design series, The Best Planned City was produced by LALH in association with Florentine Films/Hott Productions, Inc and made possible through the generous support of LALH members.

Want to screen a high-resolution copy of the film for an event or class? Contact Jane Roy Brown (jroybrown@lalh.org; 413-549-4860).
