About the LALH exhibition program
LALH touring exhibitions have reached broad and diverse audiences across the United States. Through this program many thousands of individuals are learning about North American landscape history and preservation. LALH exhibitions are funded by grants from foundations and corporations and hosted by art and history museums, botanical gardens, and university galleries.
LALH exhibitions provide museums with opportunities for guest lectures, book signings, symposia, workshops, and landscape tours and are frequently featured in local and national news. Important ideas about landscape history and preservation are thus communicated to individuals in many walks of life. Through these means, LALH exhibitions reach vast numbers of people.
